Registrations
Who we are registered with
Southern Season Fruit Trading exports under Merchant Engineering (Pty) Ltd, registration 2021/639889/07, a South African private company.
Exporter registration with DALRRD, PPECB registration, exporter and customs client codes, VAT registration and orchard certification are all provided in full on request, and travel with the documentation on any first consignment. We would rather send them to a buyer who is going to use them than publish them.
Per consignment
Documents that travel with the fruit
Phytosanitary certificate
Issued by the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development against each consignment, carrying the orchard and packhouse codes.
Cold treatment record
Continuous temperature data for the treatment applied in transit, to the protocol India approved in August 2026.
Commercial set
Invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin, matched to the consignment marked on the carton.
The contracting entity
Southern Season Fruit Trading is the trading name of Merchant Engineering (Pty) Ltd, registration 2021/639889/07. That is the name that appears on contracts, invoices, phytosanitary certificates and bank instructions.
